Summer 2026
ART LABS FOR KIDS (Ages 6-10 and 11-16)
Youth Art Labs are a space for youth to explore painting, drawing, printmaking, bookbinding, and art history in a supportive, engaging environment that balances skill-building with imagination. Youth Art Labs are structured enough to learn and open enough to explore. Come make art and make new friends! Taught by artist and long-time teacher Kirsten DeBoer at studio kiki, conveniently located at 42 Bolinas Road (Harry’s Arcade) in downtown Fairfax. These small groups will gather in the studio ‘lab’ to make art and build community.
Youth Art Labs run on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM.
Cost is $300/session with a $50 materials fee ($350 due at registration).

ART LABS FOR ADULTS (Ages 17 and Up)
Adult Art Labs are creative workshops for adults focused on helping you drop into the ‘flow’—the zone where making feels natural, absorbing, and alive. The work has a way of extending beyond the studio into how you think, feel, and move through your life. This is about process over product and attention over perfection. Come learn how to access the state where creativity actually happens. Get creative in the lab, build community, and explore materials. Wake up the artist that lives inside of you!
Adult Art Labs run on Saturday or Sunday from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
Cost is $250/day, including all materials. Refer a friend and save $50!
